GOV. IDRIS PRESIDES OVER WEDDING FATIHA OF HON. MAISUDAN, SA RELIGIOUS DAUGHTER IN BIRNIN KEBBI

Kebbi State Governor Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, on Friday, attended and presided over two high-profile Wedding Fatiha ceremonies in the state capital, reinforcing his commitment to the strengthening social and communal bonds among the people of Kebbi.

At the first ceremony, Governor Idris presided over the union of Aisha Imrana Usman, daughter of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Religious Affairs, and her groom, Muhammad Bello.

The wedding, held at the Sheikh Muhammad Abbas Jega Jumuat Mosque in Rafin Atiku, Birnin Kebbi, was solemnized following the payment of N200,000 as dowry by the groom’s family.

In a similar vein, the Governor attended the Wedding Fatiha of Hon. Faruku Abubakar Maisudan, Member representing Suru Constituency and Chairman of the House Committee on Justice and Judiciary, who married Dr. Aisha Abubakar Musa Kigera.

The ceremony took place at the Abubakar Sadik Juma’at Mosque, Gesse Phase II, where a dowry of N300,000 was paid.

Governor Idris served as the guardian (Wali) to the groom, Hon. Maisudan while Musa Muhammad Dikko, Kisante Borgu and Magajin Garin New Bussa, served as the representative (Wali) for the bride.

The spiritual sessions and closing supplications (Dua) for the unions were performed by Sheikh Aliyu Ladda Bunza, who prayed for Allah’s blessings, peace, and fruitfulness in the new homes.

Governor Idris congratulated the couples and their families, urging them to build their marriages on the foundations of patience, mutual respect, and the teachings of Islam.
