NYSC Appoints Yakubu Yaro as Acting Director, North-West Area Office II

The management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), National Directorate Headquarters, has appointed Usman Yakubu Yaro, popularly known as Malikin Zuru, as the Acting Director of the North West Area Office II, headquartered in Sokoto State.
The appointment followed a recent redeployment of directors and acting directors to oversee various departments and area offices of the scheme across the country.
Before his new appointment, Yaro was regarded as a seasoned administrator who served in different capacities within the NYSC structure.
Most recently, he served as the NYSC State Coordinator in Sokoto State for three years before he was transferred to the Reforms coordination and service Improvement Department at the National Directorate Headquarters in Abuja.
Following a brief stint in the department, he was redeployed to the North West Area Office II as Acting Director.
The office oversees NYSC activities in Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara, and Katsina states.
