CP Shaffa Receives NYSC State Coordinator on Courtesy and Familiarization Visit
…Reaffirms Commitment to Corps Members’

The Commissioner of Police, Sokoto State Command, CP Hayatu Hassan Shaffa, psc, mnips, today received the State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Sokoto State, Mr. Gebrel Tyoyer Ter, on a courtesy and familiarization visit at the Command Headquarters.
The visit was aimed at strengthening the existing partnership between the Nigeria Police Force and the NYSC, as well as discussing strategies for the improved security and welfare of corps members serving in the state.
During the meeting, CP Shaffa assured the NYSC State Coordinator of the Command’s unwavering commitment to the safety of all corps members, particularly those posted to remote areas and those involved in electoral duties and other national assignments. He called for continuous intelligence sharing and joint orientation programs to sensitize corps members on personal security measures.
In his remarks, Mr. Gebrel thanked the Commissioner for his warm reception and lauded the police command’s dedication to protecting NYSC personnel and assets. He noted that the familiarization visit was part of efforts to foster seamless collaboration between the NYSC and security agencies in Sokoto State.
