SOKOTO: RANGE EXERCISE SCHEDULED FOR 10TH MAY, 2026

The general public is hereby informed that a routine Range Exercise will be conducted by personnel of Sokoto State Police Command on Saturday 10th May, 2026 from 06:00AM to 4:00PM at Kware shooting range.
In view of the above, members of the public, especially residents and commuters within the exercise area, are advised as follows:
(a) Do not panic at the sound of gunshots during the stated period.
(b) Avoid unnecessary movement or trespassing around the designated range area for safety reasons.
(c) Parents and guardians are advised to caution their children and wards accordingly.
(d) Kindly adhere to all instructions from security personnel deployed around the area.
The cooperation and understanding of the public are highly appreciated as we continue to work towards ensuring public safety and security.
