CP Sokoto Lauds Candidates, Examiners as Phase 2 Recruitment Written Exam Commences

The Commissioner of Police, Sokoto State Command, Cp Hayatu Hassan Shaffa, psc, mnips today visited the ongoing Phase Two recruitment written examination at the Command Headquarters Auditorium, where he lauded the dedication and discipline displayed by both candidates and examiners.
The three-day examination, scheduled from 28th to 30th April 2026, marks the second phase of the recruitment exercise into the Nigeria Police Force.
During the visit, CP Sokoto toured the examination halls to assess the conduct of the exercise firsthand. He acknowledged the strict adherence to stipulated rules and regulations governing the examination, noting that the seamless organization reflected the integrity of the process.
“I am impressed by the level of compliance from all parties involved. The examiners have carried out their duties with the highest level of professionalism, and the candidates have shown commendable commitment to fair play by abiding by the established guidelines,” CP Sokoto stated.
He further emphasized that transparency and merit remain the cornerstones of the recruitment drive, urging candidates to sustain the same level of discipline throughout the remaining days of the exercise.
The written examination, which drew hundreds of candidates, was conducted in a peaceful and orderly manner, with adequate security and medical support on standby.
The Commissioner of Police reaffirmed the Command’s resolve to ensure a credible and hitch-free recruitment process, warning that any form of malpractice would not be tolerated.
The exercise continues tomorrow, 29th April, and concludes on 30th April 2026. Successful candidates will be notified for subsequent stages of the recruitment process.
