Special prayers held to commemorate 3rd anniversary of Sokoto Governor

The special prayers were held at the Aliyu Magatakarda Jumu’at Mosque, Bodinga Road, in the Buzaye area of Sokoto.
Six Islamic scholars, led by the Deputy Chief Imam of the Jumu’at Mosque, Malam Malami Abdullahi, conducted the special prayers.
They prayed for peace and stability in the state and the country at large.
Similarly, they prayed for Allah’s guidance and protection for the leadership of the state.
The special prayers were attended by the State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Idris Mohammed Gobir, who stood in for Governor Ahmed Aliyu, and the APC leader in the state, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, as well as the Minister of State for Works, Barrister Muhammad Bello Goronyo.
Others in attendance included the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Tukur Bala Bodinga, Members of the State Executive Council, Special Advisers, and Senior Special Assistants.
