Sokoto ADC governorship candidate felicitates Atiku, Amaechi on presidential ticket

The Governorship Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Sokoto State, Hon. Manir Muhammad Dan’iya (Walin Sokoto), has congratulated the Presidential Candidate of the party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and former Governor of Rivers State and former Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, on their emergence as the party’s presidential ticket for the 2027 general elections.
Hon. Dan’iya described the development as a significant milestone in the ADC’s journey towards providing purposeful leadership and a credible alternative for Nigerians seeking a more prosperous, secure, and united nation.
In a statement issued by his Media Aide, Aminu Abdullahi, the ADC gubernatorial candidate said the coming together of two experienced national leaders on a single ticket reflects political maturity, national inclusiveness, and a shared commitment to addressing the challenges facing the country.
According to him, “The emergence of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi on the ADC presidential ticket demonstrates the spirit of partnership, national cohesion, and collective responsibility that Nigeria requires at this critical period in its history.”
He noted that the combination of experience, leadership capacity, and national outlook represented by both leaders offers Nigerians a platform capable of advancing economic growth, strengthening security, promoting national unity, and improving the welfare of citizens.
“The task before us is to build a stronger Nigeria where every citizen has the opportunity to thrive regardless of region, ethnicity, religion, or political affiliation. This ticket reflects the diversity and unity that our country needs,” Hon. Dan’iya stated.
The ADC gubernatorial candidate called on party members, supporters, and stakeholders across the country to remain united and committed to strengthening the party ahead of the 2027 elections.

Hon.
