Minister urges Couples to respect marital institution as he gives out Dingyadi’s daughter in marriage

The Minister of Labour and Productivity, Alhaji Maigari Dingyadi, has enjoined newly wedded couples to respect the institution of marriage for societal development.
The minister gave the advice when he stood in as bride’s father at the solemnization of the union between A’isha Yusuf Dingyadi and Bashir M. Bashir during the wedding Fatiha at Sultan Dan’ma’azu Mosque on Friday in Sokoto.
A’isha is the daughter of the Senior Special Assistant to the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman on Strategy and Communication.
The marriage was solemnized by the Chief Imam of Dan’ma’azu Juma’at Mosque, Sheikh Usman Aliyu, after the payment of a dowry of N200,000.
The event was attended by dignitaries including the Secretary to the Sokoto State Government, Alhaji Bello Sifawa; former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman, Alhaji Bello Goronyo; Saukin Sokoto, Alhaji Lawal Maidoki; former Sokoto State Head of Service; and others.
