Sultan Declares Monday First Day of Jumadal Ula 1448AH

The Sultan of Sokoto and President-General of the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, has declared Monday, October 12, 2026, as the first day of Jumadal Ula 1448AH.
The declaration was contained in a press statement issued by the Sultanate Council, Sokoto, on Sunday, October 11, 2026, and signed by the Wazirin Sokoto, Professor Sambo Wali Junaidu, who is also the Chairman of the Council’s Advisory Committee on Religious Affairs.
