Breaking: Kebbi Governor screened to re-contest in 2027

Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has successfully completed the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship screening ahead of the 2027 elections.
He said on Friday in Abuja shortly after the exercise,” I thank Almighty Allah and appreciate the leadership of our great party for the confidence reposed in me.
“I remain committed to serving the good people of Kebbi State with sincerity, dedication and the fear of Allah.
“The remarkable support and solidarity shown by party leaders, stakeholders and supporters from Kebbi State continue to inspire us to do more for our people.
“Together, we shall continue to consolidate on the achievements recorded across critical sectors and sustain the progress, peace and development being witnessed across our dear state.”
