GOV. IDRIS ATTENDS PGF’s MEETING IN ABUJA

Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has joined fellow governors to attend the All Progressives Congress (APC) Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) meeting chaired by the Forum’s Chairman and Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma.
The meeting was held on Friday at the Imo State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja, where the governors unanimously reaffirmed their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second-term bid ahead of the 2027 Presidential Election.
Speaking after the meeting, Governor Hope Uzodimma said: “Today, I had the honour of presiding over a meeting of the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF), alongside my deputy and the Governor of Kaduna State, His Excellency Senator Uba Sani, with fellow governors of our great party in attendance.
“During our deliberations, we reviewed the progress made so far and further strengthened our strategic engagement ahead of our party primaries and the 2027 Presidential Election.
“We also reflected on the leadership and achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whose commitment to national development, economic reforms, infrastructure renewal, and the welfare of Nigerians continues to inspire growing confidence and support across the country.
The forum endorsed president Tinubu’s second term bid ‘ In recognition of this progress, the Forum unanimously reaffirmed its endorsement of his second-term bid.
“As leaders, our responsibility remains to continue working together in unity, deepen the structures of our party, and remain focused on delivering hope, stability, and sustainable development for the Nigerian people.
“We are encouraged by the strides already made under President Tinubu’s administration and remain optimistic about the future of our nation as we continue to work collectively towards success in 2027.”he added.
