Police Service Commission Announces Computer-Based Aptitude Test Dates for Recruitment Candidates

The Police Service Commission officially announced the dates for the Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBT) for candidates progressing in the ongoing recruitment exercise.

Following the physical and credentials screening exercise, which is scheduled to conclude on Saturday, April 18, 2026, all successful candidates will be required to sit for a Computer-Based Aptitude Test. This CBT is a critical step to ensure that only suitably qualified individuals are ultimately recruited into the Force.

The aptitude test is scheduled to hold from Tuesday, April 28, to Thursday, April 30, 2026, across the 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The duration of the test in each state will depend on the number of eligible candidates and the availability of functional CBT centres. Consequently, a state may require one, two, or all three days to complete the testing of its candidates.

Further details regarding specific venue assignments and the list of successful candidates will be communicated in due course. Prospective candidates are advised to remain patient and await further official instructions.

All applicants are urged to rely solely on information disseminated through official website.
