MISCHIEVOUS PLOY TO SCUTTLE THE YOBE STATE GOVERNORSHIP ASPIRATION OF KASHIM MUSA TUMSAH MFR (KMT)
It has come to the notice of His Excellency, Kashim Musa Tumsah MFR aka KMT and indeed the KMT Campaign Organization that some mischievous persons who do not mean well for the growth and progress of Yobe State have engaged in callous rumour mongering that His Excellency, Kashim Musa Tumsah, the strongest and most popular governorship aspirant has withdrawn his aspiration.
It should be clearly understood that the rumour emanating from whichever source is baseless, callous and a wild impossible imagination of those spreading it.
KMT remains strong in his aspiration and fully prepared to participate in coming Thursday’s (21st May, 2026) All Progressives Congress APC governorship primaries in the state with the full backing of all his supporters.
We wish to call on all APC members in the state and the people of Yobe State to disregard any and all negative information especially regarding withdrawal of KMT’s participation in the coming governorship primaries.
This is another plot by those who fear that Kashim Musa Tumsah MFR will win the 2027 governorship election in Yobe State by the special grace of God and genuine support of Yobe State citizens.
Any contrary information from any source other than the KMT Campaign Organization should be considered as fake henceforth please.
