Biography of Mahmud Sadis Buba, ‘Abin al-Ajabin Zazzau’, Rep. aspirant

Born on August 2, 1995, in Sabon Gari, Zaria, Kaduna State, this 30-year-old politician and grassroots mobiliser, popularly known as Abin Al-Ajabin Zazzau, meaning “The Wonder of Zaria,” has become one of the most viral political figures in Nigeria in 2026. Not because of money, connections, or a famous surname, but because of who he is and the sheer audacity of what he is attempting.
A former driver living with dwarfism, he purchased APC nomination forms to contest the House of Representatives seat for Sabon Gari Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, and in doing so sparked one of the most genuine conversations about inclusion, merit, and youth representation that Nigerian politics has seen in years.
