WIFE OF SOKOTO STATE GOVERNOR VISITS KEBBE TO CONDOLE WITH TERRORISM VICTIMS AND PROVIDE RELIEF SUPPORT

On tuesday, 25 August 2026, the wife of the sokoto state governor, Hajiya Fatima Ahmad Aliyu, paid a humanitarian visit to the people of kebbe local government area to express her sympathy and solidarity with families affected by recent terrorist attacks.
During the visit, she presented ₦3 million in financial assistance, together with 250 bags of rice, cartons of spaghetti, and sawa clothing materials, for distribution to women who lost their loved ones and those displaced from their homes as a result of the attacks.
She was warmly received by the executive chairman of kebbe local government, his wife, other dignitaries, women leaders, and representatives of various women’s organisations in the kocal government area.
Hajiya Fatima Ahmad Aliyu expressed her heartfelt sympathy to the affected families and prayed for lasting peace and security across kebbe, sokoto state, and Nigeria as a whole.
She also urged the people to continue praying for the efforts of the sokoto state government under the leadership of His Excellency, Dr. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, FCNA, and the security agencies in their ongoing efforts to restore peace and protect affected communities.
She was accompanied by the wife of the deputy governor, the wife of the speaker of the sokoto state house of assembly, the commissioner for women affairs, special advisers, and other distinguished personalities.
The visit demonstrated the commitment of the sokoto state government and its leadership to standing with and supporting communities affected by insecurity, particularly during difficult times.
