Sokoto CP visits Correctional Centre to bolster inter-agency cooperation

The Commissioner of Police, Sokoto State Command, CP Hassan Hayatu Shaffa, pays a courtesy visit to the Sokoto Correctional Centre alongside members of his management team.
The visit forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen inter-agency collaboration between the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigerian Correctional Service in the state. During the visit, the Commissioner emphasized the importance of synergy in ensuring effective criminal justice administration, security, and public safety.
CP Shaffa commended the officers and personnel of the correctional centre for their commitment and professionalism, noting that cooperation between security agencies remains vital in addressing security challenges.
The Controller of the Sokoto Correctional Centre appreciated the visit and reaffirmed the commitment of the service to continue working closely with the Police for enhanced security and efficient management of inmates.
The visit concluded with a renewed pledge from both agencies to sustain collaboration in the interest of peace and security in Sokoto State.
