2027: ADC is on a rescue mission, says Sen. Aminu Tambuwal

From Bashir Rabe Mani in Sokoto
Former Sokoto Governor, Sen. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, on Saturday night in Sokoto declared that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is out to rescue Nigeria from the ‘misrule’ of the All Progressives Congress (APC) under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Addressing newsmen shortly after the successful conduct of the party’s State Congress, Tambuwal, who represents Sokoto South Senatorial District, insisted, “ADC is the only saviour of the country from APC and its failed leadership.”
According to the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, the APC-led Federal Government had woefully failed the citizens in all ramifications.
He also bemoaned the recurring security challenges, biting poverty and rising unemployment in the country.
Sen. Tambuwal also pledged that an ADC-led Federal Government will strive hard to roundly tackle these formidable problems to make Nigeria the desired dream land of all the citizens.
The ADC leader in Sokoto State further accused President Tinubu of inflicting “cancers” on the Labour Party and the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), all in  the bid to scuttle the opposition.
According to him, Tinubu has failed to stop the coalition from blossoming, expressing happiness that the congress had been successfully conducted in spite of the glaring despicable acts of some detractors.
Sen. Tambuwal, who underscored the imperatives of multiplicity of political parties, added that multi party democracy cannot in anyway be compromised.
He also chided the President for allegedly”rigging” his way into the Presidency in 2023, saying, ” that won’t work in 2027.
“We will retire APC in 2027 both at the national level and in Sokoto State. Nigerians must therefore troop into ADC to facilitate our noble mission and vision.
“Sokoto is the home of ADC, hence we should massively join the party as well continue to be united to liberate Nigeria and Sokoto State,” the former Speaker added.
He applauded the members of the party in the state for coming out en masse and.peacefuly participating in the Congress.
