Wurno Road Community Commends Sen. Wamakko for Delivering Electricity Transformer After Months of Blackout

Residents of Wurno Road in Wamakko Local Government Area have expressed appreciation to Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko for donating an electricity transformer to the community after over 13 months without power.
Presenting the transformer on behalf of Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Senator, Bashar Abubakar, said the donation followed a request made by the community, which the Senator graciously approved.
Bashar Abubakar called on the beneficiaries to ensure the proper utilization and maintenance of the transformer for the collective benefit of the community.
Community leaders said the prolonged blackout had affected businesses and daily activities, but the transformer has now restored hope and improved living conditions.
The residents also commended the Minister of State for Works, Barrister Bello Muhammad Goronyo, for facilitating the intervention and pledged to safeguard the transformer for the benefit of all.
They described the gesture as a reflection of responsive leadership and prayed for Allah’s continued guidance and protection for Senator Wamakko.
The donation comes barely a week after a similar transformer was provided to residents of Kaduna Road in Sokoto following the breakdown of their own transformer.
