ZAMFARA ATTACK: REP ZUBAIRU CONDEMNS KILLING OF 12 SOLDIERS, 5 CIVILIANS IN MARU

The Member representing Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu, Zannan Bungudu, has condemned in totality the unfortunate armed bandits’ attack that resulted in the killing of 12 gallant military personnel and 5 civilians in Bindin community of Maru South Constituency, Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
Hon. Zubairu, in a condolence message he personally signed, described the attack as a terror and cruel act that signifies the need for all to be more alive to their responsibilities, owing to the fact that questions await everyone in the next world.
The lawmaker extended his deepest condolences to the Zamfara State Government, the Nigerian Military, the Theatre Commander Operation Fansan Yamma and Commander 1 Brigade, Nigerian Army Headquarters Gusau, as well as the community of Bundin in Dansadau Emirate.
“It is my prayer that Allah SWT grant the deceased victims eternal rest and give their families the fortitude to withstand the pain associated with this colossal loss,” Hon. Zubairu said.
He prayed: “Allah SWT Ya cigaba da bamu tsaro da aminci a dukkan yankunan mu da kasar mu baki daya.”
