Tragedy has struck the family of Dr. Hadiza Usman, former Chief Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre, Nguru, Yobe State, as her twin daughters died just two days apart.
The twins, who came together into the world, have returned to their Creator together, in a development that has thrown many into mourning.
They were identified as Dr. Hadiya Usman (Hassana), a Medical Doctor and her twin sister, Dr. Aidah Usman (Husaina), a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
Dr. Hadiya was said to have passed away on Friday, while her twin sister, Dr. Aidah died on Sunday.
Their deaths have continued to attract an outpouring of grief, with many describing the incident as a heartbreaking reminder that Allah is indeed the Supreme Planner and His decree is beyond human comprehension.
May Allah SWT forgive them, shower them with His endless mercy, and grant them Al-Jannatul Firdaus. May He give their parents, family, friends, colleagues and loved ones the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Ameen Ya Rabbal Alameen
