SUBEB SOKOTO PARTICIPATES IN REGIONAL WORKSHOP ON BOOK SUPPLY AND TRACK-AND-TRACE SYSTEM

The Sokoto State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), under the leadership of its Executive Chairman, Alhaji Umar Nagwari Tambuwal, is participating in the Five-Day Result Area 1 Regional Thematic Workshop on Book Supply and Track-and-Trace System, currently holding in Kano State.
The workshop, which commenced on Saturday, 19th September and will end on Friday, 25th September 2026, brings together education stakeholders from the North-West and North-East geopolitical zones to strengthen their capacity on effective book supply, distribution, monitoring, and the Track-and-Trace System.
The Sokoto State delegation is actively participating in the workshop sessions, aimed at improving the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of educational book supply and distribution across the basic education sector
.
During the workshop, members of the Sokoto SUBEB delegation also held a group session with representatives from Gombe State SUBEB and UBEC North-East and North-West Executive Directors, who represented the Executive Secretary of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), Abuja.
The workshop provides an important platform for participating states and education stakeholders to share experiences, strengthen collaboration, and enhance systems for ensuring that educational materials reach schools and learners efficiently.
