Sokoto LGSC Chairman loses daughter

The death has occurred of Rashida Ahmed Barade Wamakko, daughter of the District Head of Wamakko and Chairman of the Sokoto State Local Government Service Commission, Alhaji Ahmed Barade Wamakko.
Rashida was the wife of the Vice Chairman of Wamakko Local Government, Alhaji Abubakar Muhammad Goshe.
She is survived by her parents, husband, and six children.
Gov. Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto State was represented at the funeral by his Deputy, Engr. Idris Muhammad Gobir.
Other dignitaries present included the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Muhammad Bello Sifawa, and the Chief of Staff, Government House Sokoto, Alhaji Aminu Dikko.
Also in attendance were members and staff of the Local Government Service Commission, Permanent Secretaries, state and local government functionaries, traditional rulers, Ulamas, politicians, and many well-wishers.
Special prayers were offered for the repose of her soul and for her family to have the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
