Etsu Nupe mourns former CBN Deputy Governor, Sachi Mayaki

The Etsu Nupe and Chairman, Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, has expressed deep sadness over the death of Alhaji Sachi Mayaki, a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
In a condolence message, the Etsu Nupe described the death of Mayaki as a great loss to the Nupe people, Niger State and Nigeria, considering his contributions to the development of the financial sector and his years of dedicated service to the nation.
The traditional ruler described the deceased as a distinguished public servant, accomplished technocrat and patriotic Nigerian who contributed immensely to the growth and stability of the nation’s financial system.
According to him, Mayaki’s wealth of experience, professionalism, humility and commitment to national development earned him the respect of colleagues, associates and the wider society.
The Etsu Nupe said the late former CBN Deputy Governor would be remembered for his service to humanity, his commitment to the development of his community and his contributions to the progress of Nigeria.
He commiserated with the Mayaki family, relatives, friends, associates and the people of Niger State over the loss, urging them to take solace in the fact that the deceased lived a life of service and left behind worthy legacies.
Alhaji Yahaya prayed Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, grant him Aljanna Firdausi and give his family and loved ones the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The Etsu Nupe also prayed Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest and comfort all those mourning his passing.
