Special prayers for peace, security, conducted at Wamakko’s house

As part of the daily prayer sessions held after every Isha’i prayer at the residence of Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, five prominent Islamic scholars conducted special prayers for lasting peace, improved security and the success of the nation’s leaders.
This was contained in a statement issued on Saturday in Sokoto by his spokesperson, Bashar Abubakar.
The prayers focused on seeking Allah’s intervention in ending the recurring security challenges affecting parts of Sokoto State and Nigeria as a whole.
The scholars were Mallam Bello Jibdawa, Imam Maidamma Shagari, Sheikh Ja’afar Abdullahi Kaura, Imam Yahuza Shehu Tambuwal and Mallam Bashir Gidan Kanawa.
They prayed for Allah’s guidance and support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Ahmed Aliyu and Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko in their efforts to provide purposeful leadership and improve the well-being of the people.
The scholars also sought divine intervention in tackling banditry and other security challenges, particularly in the affected communities of Sokoto State.
Senator Wamakko participated in the prayer session alongside several prominent personalities and other worshippers.
