Youths Leaders in Afon Constituency Endorse Dan Sokoto for Kwara Assembly Race

Youth leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from all eight wards in Afon Constituency have unanimously endorsed Hon. Ridwan Dan Sokoto for the 2027 Kwara State House of Assembly election.
The endorsement was announced on Monday during a strategic consultation meeting held at the party office in Eyekorin.
Dan Sokoto, Chief Executive Officer of Dan Sokoto Motors and a PDP aspirant for the Afon Constituency seat, met with youth leaders drawn from Budo Egba, Afon, Ogele, Okeso, Ila Oja, Aboto Oja/Odo-Ode, Ogbondoroko/Reke and Laduba wards.
Addressing the gathering, Dan Sokoto appreciated the youth leaders for attending and unveiled his agenda centred on youth empowerment, job creation, skills acquisition and effective representation.
He described young people as the strength and future of Afon Constituency, urging them to support his ambition ahead of the 2027 elections.
“This project is about us. I am one of you and I need your trust and support to take Afon to the next level in the Kwara State House of Assembly,” he said.
Speaking at the event, Asa Local Government PDP Youth Leader, Hon. Musa Suhaibu, described the aspirant as a good ambassador of youth whose humility, track record and commitment to youth development had earned him widespread support.
“With all our ward youth leaders here today, we are convinced he represents our interest,” Suhaibu said.
Also speaking, PDP chieftain Hon. Hameed Afeez said Dan Sokoto was a trustworthy and capable candidate who could deliver quality representation to the constituency.
“Afon needs a trustworthy and capable hand. Hon. Dan Sokoto is a person that we can trust with our mandate,” he said.
The meeting ended with prayers, solidarity chants and a pledge by the youth leaders to mobilise support for Dan Sokoto and the Peoples Democratic Party across polling units in the constituency.
