Ndarani SAN salutes Sultan of Sokoto on 70th Birthday

A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Alhaji Mohammed Ndarani, the Hukunchi Nupe and Hausaland Madugu of Lapai, has felicitated with the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
Ndarani, in a congratulatory message, described the Sultan as an exemplary traditional ruler, statesman and distinguished custodian of Nigeria’s rich cultural and religious heritage.
He said the Sultan’s seven decades of life and years of service to humanity had been characterised by wisdom, humility, courage, peace-building and unwavering commitment to the unity and development of Nigeria.
According to him, the Sultan has continued to deploy his revered position to promote peaceful coexistence, religious tolerance and mutual understanding among Nigerians, irrespective of ethnic, religious or political differences.
Ndarani, who is also a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, particularly commended the Sultan’s leadership of the Nigerian traditional institution and his contributions to the preservation of the values, traditions and dignity of the people.
He said: “On behalf of my family, the people of Lapai, the Nupe people and indeed the people of Hausaland, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
“His Eminence has remained a symbol of wisdom, unity, peace and responsible leadership. His life of service and dedication to humanity is worthy of celebration and emulation.
“We are particularly grateful to Almighty Allah for granting His Eminence seven decades of life and for continuing to use him as an instrument of peace, unity and development in our dear country.”
The Hukunchi Nupe prayed Almighty Allah to grant the Sultan continued good health, wisdom, strength and many more years in the service of the people and humanity.
He also prayed for the continued peace, stability and prosperity of Sokoto State, the Sultanate and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Ndarani urged Nigerians to continue to support and respect the traditional institution, noting that traditional rulers remained important partners in promoting peace, unity and sustainable development across the country.
He wished the Sultan a joyous 70th birthday celebration and many more years of impactful service to the nation and humanity.
