MANAGEMENT TEAM OF KECHEMA PAYS HOMAGE TO KEBBI GOVERNOR’S WIFE

The Wife of the Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nafisa Nasir, on Thursday received the management team of KECHEMA at the Government House.
Speaking during the visit, Dr. Nafisa Nasir expressed delight over the courtesy call and reaffirmed her commitment to supporting the agency at all times. She urged members of the management team to remain honest and trustworthy in their dealings to ensure the successful achievement of the agency’s goals.
She also thanked Almighty Allah for the continued support and solidarity shown to the first family, while praying for Governor Nasir’s success ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial election.
In his address, the newly appointed Executive Secretary of KECHEMA, Dr. Murtala Muhammad Dandare, said the visit was aimed at discussing programmes designed to improve the agency’s capacity to attract more enrollees. He added that increased advocacy and sensitisation were necessary and called on KECHEMA’s Third-Party Administrator to support the effort.
Dr. Dandare thanked Governor Nasir for finding him worthy of appointment as Executive Secretary of the agency and reaffirmed his total commitment to the effective discharge of his responsibilities.
In their separate remarks, the Director of Programmes of the agency, Hajiya Suwaiba Jadadi, and the Chairman of NANAS Foundation, Alhaji Aminuddeen Attahiru Nasarawa, stated that the foundation has been working closely with the agency in registering women and children in order to reduce the burden of medical expenses.
They also appreciated Dr. Nafisa Nasir for her continuous support and contributions toward the development of women and children’s healthcare in the state.
The visit was attended by members of the NANAS Foundation, the Elders Forum, and the SDGs Focal Person.
