INEC Sokoto Felicitates Media Partners on World Press Freedom Day

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Sokoto State, joins the global community to celebrate World Press Freedom Day and felicitate with all media partners across Sokoto State.
INEC Sokoto appreciates the media community for their support, contribution, professionalism, and dedication to public enlightenment, voter education, and credible electoral information dissemination.
The Commission has visited almost 98 percent of media houses in Sokoto State and remains proud to be media friendly. These engagements have further strengthened the relationship between INEC and the media in promoting transparency, public trust, and effective communication in the electoral process.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner, INEC Sokoto State, Hon. Umar Yusuf Garba, commends the commitment of journalists, media executives, reporters, presenters, and other media professionals whose work continues to make the Commission’s activities easier, more effective, and better understood by the public.
INEC Sokoto assures the media community of its continued partnership and open-door policy in the interest of credible elections, voter awareness, and democratic development.
