Gov. Aliyu pays condolence Visits to late Alhaji Alhaji’s family, other Bereaved Families in state

Gov. Aliyu, Thursday afternoon returned to Sokoto after performing Umrah in the holyland, and paid condolence visits to several families over the demise of their loved ones.
This was contained in a statement issued on Friday in Sokoto by Abubakar Bawa, Director-General, Media and Publicity, Government House, Sokoto.
According to the statement, they included the family of the late Sir Alhaji Abubakar Alhaji, Sardaunan Sokoto, who died a few days ago, as well as the family of the late former Deputy Governor of Kebbi State, Alhaji Ibrahim K. Aliyu, who also passed away a few days ago.
The Governor also condoled with the District Head of Wamakko, Alhaji Ahmed Barade, over the demise of his daughter, Rashida, who died recently.
He further condoled with the Sokoto State Chief Judge, Justice Sa’idu Muhammad Sifawa, over the death of his wife, Hajiya Aisha.
The Governor was also at Kofar Taramniya, where he condoled with his in-law, Alhaji Abubakar Attahiru, over the death of his younger sister, Hajiya Halima Sani, popularly known as Yar Dubu, who passed away a few days ago.
He also paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Umaru Ladan of Kwanar Majema, who died at the age of 55 and is survived by one wife and 10 children.
At all the houses visited by the Governor, prayers were offered for the repose of the souls of the departed.
