Sen. Wamakko Extends Massive Support to Sokoto East Communities

Former Governor and Senator representing Sokoto North, Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, has once again demonstrated his generosity by extending the distribution of empowerment materials to communities in Sokoto East Senatorial District.
This was contained in a statement signed by Bashar Abubakar, Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to Sen. Wamakko and issued to newsmen on Friday in Sokoto.
The intervention saw the distribution of 200 motorcycles, 400 sewing machines, and over 4,000 assorted food items to beneficiaries across eight local government areas.
The gesture, aimed at improving livelihoods and supporting grassroots development, benefited a wide range of stakeholders, including APC chairmen, local government officials, youth and women leaders, traditional rulers, and social media representatives.
The distribution ceremony, held in Gwadabawa, attracted key political figures and party stakeholders from across the zone. The Senator was represented by the APC State Financial Secretary, Nasiru Italy, alongside Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, and other party leaders.
This latest effort reinforces Wamakko’s longstanding commitment to uplifting communities and strengthening party structures across Sokoto State.
It could be recalled that similar gestures were earlier carried out in Sokoto North and Sokoto South Senatorial Districts.@
