An advance team of Nigerian Hajj officials is set to depart for Saudi Arabia on Monday,
April 27 as part of early preparations for the 2026 pilgrimage, ahead of the arrival of pilgrims scheduled for May 3.
The delegation will include key operational units such as accommodation, feeding, medical, and passport teams, aimed at ensuring all logistics and essential services are in place before the main airlift begins.
The move reflects efforts by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) to ensure a smooth, well-coordinated Hajj operation, with the team expected to finalize arrangements and liaise with Saudi authorities.
