2027: Opposition politicians egocentric, fraudulent, unpatriotic, says Sokoto South LGA Chairman

In the run up to the 2027 general elections, the Chairman of Sokoto South Local Government Area in Sokoto State, Alhaji Ya’u Danda, says those claiming to be salvaging Nigeria under the guise of the opposition political parties are too egocentric, unpatriotic and very fraudulent.
“All those masquerading as the Messiahs of the country are people who were tested with various leadership at various levels in the country and they woefully failed Nigerians.
“I must therefore sternly warn Nigerians to steer clear of them and come onboard the real political party truly committed to taking Sokoto State and Nigeria to more greater heights,” he told journalists on Thursday in Sokoto.
According to the Chairman, the people of Sokoto State in particular and Nigerians in general must stay put in APCz with a view to tangibly consolidating the myriad of gains so far achieved in the state and across Nigeria.
Danda further maintained that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had done a lot in the country and in Sokoto State, just as Gov. Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto had done.
He cited the examples of the ongoing multibillion Naira Sokoto to Badagry Superhighway, Sokoto to Gusau to Funtua to Zaria Highway as well as several other road projects ongoing across the country.
The Sokoto South LGA Chairman further said that Nigerian Governors no longer secure loans to pay salaries and execute infrastructural projects like it was done by them hitherto.
Danda averred, ” The Governors are now getting adequate funds to execute a myriad of projects to better the lots of Nigerians.
” Such former obnoxious development is now history as the Governor no longer take loans to execute projects, pay salaries and other entitlements of the workers.
” A new national minimum wage had also been successfully implemented and all the categories of workers had benefited form the largesse.”
Danda further extolled Gov. Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto for even exceeding his people-centric 9-Point Smart Agenda, saying, ” he had touched as aspects of development well beyond the agenda.
“This is glaringly evident in the massive infrastructural transformation that has been going on in Sokoto State from May 2023 to date.”
He also described the APC leader and former Governor of Sokoto State, Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko as a true father, mentor and benefactor to the Governor, all true and loyal supporters.
According to Danda, Sen. Wamakko, who represents Sokoto North Senatorial District, has been providing the direly- needed guidance and wise counsel to Gov. Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, being his loyal and highly disciplined son as well as mentee.
He added, “We are not therefore in anyway surprised as to how the current administration had recorded colossal achievements in the past three years sequel to the sustained wise counsel of Sen. Wamakko.”
The Sokoto South Local Government Area Chairman also extolled the invaluable vision and mission of Sen. Wamakko, adding, ” his major preoccupation is to see to the event development of Sokoto State and Nigeria.
“Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko is a Senator without borders and his undying love for the people of his constituency, Sokoto State and Nigeria in general.”
Danda, therefore, among others, urged the people of the state and Nigerians to troop into APC and vote for all its candidates in the forthcoming 2027 general polls.
He also solicited for sustained fervent prayers for leaders at all levels as well as the restoration of peace,unity and prosperity of Nigeria.
