KEBBI GOVT COMMENDS ARMY HQ FOR NEW STRATEGIC FORMATIONS

The Kebbi State Government has welcomed the establishment and operationalisation of three strategic Nigerian Army formations in the State: the 28 Armoured Brigade and Garrison in Birnin Kebbi, 281 Tank Battalion in Yauri, and 381 Artillery Regiment in Kaoje.
The development is expected to strengthen security operations, enhance response capabilities and support efforts to tackle banditry, insurgency and other criminal activities in Kebbi and adjoining areas.
The State Government commended the Nigerian Army and other security agencies for their continued efforts to protect lives and property, while reaffirming its commitment to supporting security operations across the State.
The Government also called on residents to remain vigilant and provide credible intelligence to security agencies, stressing that sustained community cooperation is essential to achieving lasting peace and stability.
