2027: Obi/Kwankwaso Ticket Represents Unity, National Healing – Peter Obi

The Presidential Candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Peter Obi, has described the Obi/Kwankwaso presidency as a presidency of unity and national healing.
Obi made the remark on Monday in Sokoto while addressing newsmen after holding series of stakeholder meetings as part of his visit to the state.
He was accompanied by his running mate, former Kano State Governor, Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
He said the joint ticket was built on trust, competence and a shared vision to reunite and rebuild Nigeria.
“So that’s why I said the presidency of Kwankwaso is the presidency of unity and national healing,” Obi stated.
He also said that without unity and security, Nigeria would continue to lag behind in the comity of nations.
According to the former Anambra State Governor, Nigerians must have prosperity as the Almighty God has blessed Nigeria with abundant resources that should be fully harnessed to revamp the economy of the nation.
Obi further vowed that his administration, if elected, would roundly tackle corruption so that huge resources hitherto being stolen could be ploughed back for the even socio-economic development of the nation.
Obi also promised to resuscitate the ailing education and health sectors, pledging to boost the integration of both western and Islamic education.
The NDC presidential candidate further promised to revamp the agricultural sector, saying that it was capable of rejuvenating the country’s economy.
