Sokoto Councillors’ Forum Felicitates Gov. Aliyu, Hails Sen. Wamakko on 3rd Anniversary

The Chairman of the National Councillors’ Forum, Sokoto State chapter, has congratulated Gov. Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto on his third year in office, citing colossal infrastructural developments recorded across the state since 2023.
This was contained in a congratulatory message signed by the Chairman of the forum, Hon. Nura Umar Goronyo, issued in Sokoto on Sunday.
In the statement, the Forum highlighted road construction, renovation of schools and hospitals, and rural electrification projects as key achievements that have restored public confidence in governance at the grassroots.
“We are proud of the strides recorded under your leadership. Councillors across Sokoto remain committed partners in delivering the dividends of democracy to our communities,” the Chairman said.
The Forum also paid glowing tributes to the APC leader in the state, Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko*, for his guidance and role in sustaining party unity.
“Sen. Wamakko’s political foresight and mentorship continue to shape purposeful leadership in Sokoto.
” His advocacy for the people remains a model of statesmanship,” the statement added.
The Councillors pledged continued support for the Governor’s 9-point Smart Agenda as he begins his fourth year in office, and prayed for Allah’s guidance for both leaders.
