PCRC Deputy Chairman and Sokoto State Executives Pay Courtesy Visit to CP Hassan Hayatu Shaffa
The Deputy Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Alhaji Umar Abubakar Dogon-Daji (Sarkin Yamman Dogon-Daji), alongside members of the Sokoto State PCRC Executive Committee, paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police, Sokoto State Command, CP Hassan Hayatu Shaffa, at the Command Headquarters.
During the visit, the Deputy Chairman congratulated the Commissioner of Police on his appointment and commended his commitment to maintaining peace, security, and public trust within the state. He emphasized the importance of sustained collaboration between the police and the community, noting that PCRC remains a vital bridge in strengthening mutual understanding and cooperation.
Alhaji Umar Abubakar Dogon-Daji reaffirmed the readiness of the PCRC to support the Command in its efforts towards effective community policing, crime prevention, and intelligence gathering.
In his response, CP Hassan Hayatu Shaffa expressed appreciation for the visit and the continued support of the PCRC. He reiterated the Command’s commitment to community-oriented policing and called for enhanced partnership with stakeholders to ensure a safer Sokoto State.
