NAKASARI CONSULTATIVE FORUM REAFFIRMS SUPPORT FOR APC IN SOKOTO
The Nakasari Consultative Forum (NCF) has paid a solidarity and courtesy visit to the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Sokoto State, Hon. Ibrahim Dadi Adare Dallatun Gobir, reaffirming its support for the political movement of Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko and the Governor of Sokoto State, Dr. Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto FCNA.
The delegation, led by the Chairman of the Forum, Alhaji Abubakar Wurno, alongside the Ardo of Nakasari, Sambo Ardo, and other members of the organisation, said the visit was aimed at strengthening relationships, promoting unity and understanding, and reaffirming their position on political affairs in the Nakasari area.
Speaking during the visit, the Chairman of the Forum, Alhaji Abubakar Wurno, said that as stakeholders in the Nakasari area, they considered unity and peaceful coexistence as important pillars for achieving meaningful development.
He stated that, according to the Forum, “There is no political party in the entire Nakasari area other than the APC,” stressing their readiness to continue supporting the party, particularly during elections, when they would cast their votes for candidates fielded by the party.
The group also reaffirmed its support for the leadership of Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko and the Governor of Sokoto State, Dr. Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto FCNA, describing the position as the collective stand of the Forum and the people it represents.
In his response, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Ibrahim Dadi Adare Dallatun Gobir, welcomed the delegation of the Nakasari Consultative Forum and expressed appreciation for the visit.
The Commissioner commended the visit as an important step towards strengthening unity and cordial relationships, noting that engagements of this nature help to promote mutual understanding between political leaders and key stakeholders.
Hon. Ibrahim Dadi Adare further assured the delegation of his continued commitment to working with them towards strengthening unity and supporting initiatives that would benefit the people. He said, “Insha Allah, we will continue this journey together with you.”
The visit ended on a positive note, with both sides exchanging views on political affairs, strengthening relationships, promoting unity, and advancing the development of the people.
