KEBBI GOV PAYS SYMPATHY VISIT TO APC ELDERS FORUM CHAIRMAN, CONDOLES UBANDOMAN GWANDU, OTHER FAMILIES OVER LOSSES

Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, on Tuesday paid a sympathy visit to the Chairman of the Kebbi State APC Elders Forum, Alhaji Sani Hukuma Zauro, at his residence in Zauro town to personally check on his health condition following his return from medical treatment abroad.
Speaking during the visit, Governor Idris said it was important for him to visit his elder brother, friend and political associate to ascertain his condition and pray for his full recovery.
The Governor recalled that Alhaji Sani Hukuma had travelled to Cairo, Egypt, for medical treatment before returning home to continue recuperation.
Governor Idris offered prayers for Almighty Allah to grant the APC stalwart complete recovery, good health and long life in the service of Kebbi State and humanity.
Responding, Alhaji Sani Hukuma Zauro expressed profound appreciation to the Governor for the visit, describing him as a compassionate and supportive leader committed to the welfare of the people.
He disclosed that Governor Idris personally facilitated and funded his medical treatment in Egypt, which lasted several months.
‘ I have no words to thank you for the care you have shown to me over my sick condition, only Allah can reward you ‘, he averred.
The APC Elders Forum Chairman also commended the Governor’s style of leadership, urging party members and supporters to remain patient, loyal and united in support of the administration for the continued progress of Kebbi State.
On his way back from Zauro, Governor Idris also visited Ambursa area to inspect the devastating gully erosion threatening parts of the community, with a view to finding lasting solutions to the environmental challenge.
In a related development, Governor Nasir Idris led a high-powered government delegation to the palace of the Ubandoman Gwandu, Alhaji Abubakar Saddiq, in Birnin Kebbi to condole with the family over the death of Hajiya Aisha, mother of the Ubandoman Gwandu and Hon. Nasiru Langu, Special Adviser to the Governor on Ex-Councillors.
During the condolence visit, Governor Idris described the death as a great loss and prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased, grant her eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus and give the family the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
Responding on behalf of the family, the Ubandoman Gwandu thanked the Governor and members of his entourage for the visit and prayers, noting that the show of concern reflected the compassion being promoted by the present administration in Kebbi State.
The Governor and his entourage also visited Badariya area in Birnin Kebbi to condole with the family of Malam Muhammad Salla Illo, who died recently, praying Allah to forgive the deceased and comfort the bereaved family.
Governor Idris was accompanied by his deputy, Senator Umar Abubakar Tafida,Senator Muhammadu Adamu Aliero,Hon Bello Kaoje, SSG ,Alhaji Yakubu Bala Tafida and top Government officials.
