
Sokoto ADC Chairman says party out to salvage Nigeria from APC

The Chairman, Sokoto State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Alhaji Bello Isyaka, says the party is out to salvage Nigeria from the clutches of the All Progressives Congress (APC)
“We are fully committed to salvaging Nigeria come the 2027 general elections,” Isyaka told newsmen on Thursday night In Sokoto.
Our Correspondent reports that the Sokoto State ADC Chairman was reacting to the conduct of the party’s ward congresses on Thursday across the 244 wards of the state.
According to him, ADC is the only party to beat during the forthcoming polls, saying, “we want take Nigeria to greater heights in line with the dreams and aspirations of Nigerians.
” The country must be made fully safe, secure, united and evenly prosperous so as to make all the regions of the nation to be at par with each other.”
Isyaka also maintained that there is only one genuine ADC in the country, insisting that the party has never been factionalized.
“There is only true and legal ADC, which is ours and we are part of the bonafide members of the party,” the Chairman further disclosed.
On the conduct of the congresses, Isyaka stated that the other exercise was hugely successful across the state.
According to him, the congresses, which were hitch-free, were supervised by Sen. Bashir Yar’adua who was deployed to Sokoto State by the National Headquarters of the party.
He said, ” We have monitored the exercise in Sokoto North, Sokoto South, Wamakko, Kware, Dange-Shuni and Yabo LGAs and all the congresses were peacefully conducted.”
Bello further stated that ADC will conduct Local Governments Congresses on Saturday, with the State Congress scheduled for the 14th of April, 2026.
The Chairman also urged Nigerians to continue to have an undying faith in ADC as it is fully committed to restoring the lost glory of Nigeria.
