Gov. Idris Consoles Kebbi Assembly, Zuru Emirate, Family Over Speaker’s Demise

The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has condoled with Kebbi State House of Assembly members, Zuru Emirate and the immediate family of the late Speaker of state assembly who died on Monday night in Egypt.
The governor in a condolence message described the speaker as a humble and honourable politician, whose contributions to the growth of the state would never be forgotten.
He said the late speaker had been a source of hope and a pillar of support to the present administration.
Gov. Idris urged the state assembly, Zuru emirate and his immediate family members to take heart and accept the will of God Almighty in good faith.
The governor prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Jannatul Firdaus.
The speaker died on Monday night in an Egyptian hospital while undergoing treatment.
Late Usam Zuru, 56, survived by a wife and five children.
