Kebbi Governor flags off construction of 2.9km Ahmadu Bello Road in Gwandu

Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has flagged off the construction of the 2.9 kilometre Ahmadu Bello Road in Gwandu, marking the fulfilment of a key campaign promise to the good people of Gwandu.

This project represents another milestone in our administration’s commitment to delivering meaningful and people oriented infrastructure across Kebbi State.

Speaking at the epochal event, the people’s Governor said, “For many years, this road has required urgent attention, and today, we have taken decisive action to address that need.

“I have directed the contractors to strictly adhere to specifications and ensure the delivery of quality work within the stipulated time frame.

*The Ministry of Works has also been mandated to closely supervise the project to guarantee full compliance with standards. Adequate funds have already been provided for its successful completion.

“As part of our continued responsiveness to the needs of our people, we will also approve the provision of a transformer to improve electricity supply in the area and support socio economic activities.

“Our administration remains resolute in fulfilling its promises and delivering projects that have direct impact on the lives of our people.

“By the grace of Almighty Allah, we will continue to move Kebbi State forward.”
