Kaduna State Felicitates FRCN at 75, Celebrates Legacy of Unity, Nation-Building

On the landmark occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), on behalf of the Kaduna State Government, Gov.  Uba Sani, has extended warm congratulations to the management, staff, and the entire FRCN family.

This was contained in a statement signed by Malam Ahmed Maiyaki, Hon. Commissioner,
Ministry of Information and Culture, Kaduna State, issued in Kaduna on Friday.

According to the statement, for over seven decades, FRCN has remained a steadfast pillar of national unity and democratic consolidation.

It added, “Through impactful and far-reaching programming, the Corporation has bridged divides, amplified diverse voices, and fostered a shared national identity across every region of our country.

*Its enduring contribution to informing, educating, and uniting Nigerians stands as a testament to the power of public service broadcasting.

“As FRCN marks this historic milestone, Kaduna State commends its resilience and evolving relevance in a dynamic media landscape.

“We encourage the Corporation to further strengthen its role as a trusted voice of truth by promoting value-driven content, shaping positive societal norms, and leading the charge against misinformation and fake news.

“We remain confident that FRCN will continue to rise to the demands of this critical moment, deepening its impact as a unifying force and a guardian of credible information.”

The statement added that Kaduna State Government reaffirms its commitment to supporting and partnering with FRCN in advancing its noble mandate.

It continued,”Once again, we congratulate the Board, Management, and Staff of FRCN on this remarkable achievement. May your legacy continue to resonate with truth, unity, and national progress for generations to come.”
