2027: Sokoto Finance Commissioner seeks re-election of Gov. Aliyu

As the 2027 general elections are approaching, the Sokoto State Commissioner of Finance, Engineer Muhammad Jabi Shagari, has appealed to the people of the state to massively vote for Gov. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto during the polls.
“The people of the state should massively vote for APC at all levels in general and Gov. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto in particular.
“The re-election of Gov. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto is voting for the consolidation of the ongoing colossal infrastructural development going on in Sokoto State,” the renowned Engineer-cum- Administrator told newsmen in Sokoto on Tuesday.
According to the former Chairman, Shagari Local Government Area and a retired Permanent Secretary, “it is not in any way surprising that the Governor has performed beyond the expectations of the people of the state.
“Our amiable, quintessential and prolific Governor has performed creditably, well surpassing his Nine-Point Agenda.
“He has touched all aspects of development across the state and his best is yet to come.
“There is however little wonder as regards his unparalleled performances from 29th May, 2023 to date.
“Instructively, he is a product of the meticulous mentorship of our indefatigable leader and former Governor of Sokoto State, Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, Sarkin Yamman Sokoto.
“All of us including the people-friendly Governor are proud to be part of the reputable political family of Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko.”
According to the Finance Commissioner, the people of the state have therefore no option than to trust their mandates with Gov. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto during the 2027 polls.
He said: ” That’s why the opposition is dead in Sokoto State as it is now extinct.
“It is only APC that is alive and kicking, as such, we must massively vote for its candidates at all levels come 2027.
“This will certainly result in bolstering the even socio-economic development of the state, hence take it to greater heights
” This has been part of the noble mission and vision of Gov. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto and our consummate leader, Distinguished Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko.
” All of us across the state are therefore obligated to do everything humanly possible to ensure his success.
“This, we must do with our votes, resources, time and energy.”
