Perm. Sec. Sokoto PWA attends 2026 Post-Hajj Review Summit in Abuja

The Permanent Secretary of the Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Alhaji Ibrahim Umar JJ, alongside Chief Executives of various State Pilgrims Welfare Agencies, Boards, and Commissions across Nigeria, is participating in the Post-2026 Hajj Review Summit, chaired by the Chairman/CEO of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Ambassador Isma’il Abba Yusuf.
The summit serves as a strategic platform to review the 2026 Hajj operations, assess key lessons learned, identify operational gaps, and develop practical measures to strengthen Hajj administration for 2027 and beyond.
The gathering also reinforces the Commission’s commitment to its reform agenda, aimed at enhancing service delivery, improving coordination, and ensuring a more efficient and seamless Hajj experience for Nigerian pilgrims in the years ahead.
